Imported palmolein and soya oil continued their uptrend on Tuesday as local refineries quoted higher rates tracking firm overseas futures amid weak rupee which makes import costly. Liberty ’s rates for Palmolein Ex STC/Shapur were ₹560/561 for May. Super palmolein at ₹581 for May. Ruchi’s rate for Soyabean refined oil ₹625 for May 31. Allana’s ratesfor Palmolein were ₹560/563 ex Khapoli / IVP for 1-15 June. At Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia tin declined by ₹10 to ₹1,510 and Loose (10 kg) to ₹960.
