Bearish trend was witnessed in edible oil markets tracking weak futures and slack physical demand. On the BCE, barring sunflower oil, other edible oils declined in the range of ₹3-10 per 10 kg. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹475, super palmolein ₹502, soyabean refined oil ₹642. Ruchi’s rates: palmolein ₹470, soyabean refined oil ₹630 and sunflower refined oil ₹750. In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin was up ₹25 at ₹1,480 and loose (10 kg) higher by ₹15 to ₹940.
BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 945 (950), soya ref. oil 628 (630), sunflower exp. ref. 680 (680), sunflower ref. 745 (745), rapeseed ref. oil 980 (990), rapeseed exp. ref. 950 (960), cottonseed ref. oil 584 (587) and palmolein 460 (465).
