Sentiments in edible oils market remained firm-positive on Friday tracking bullish overseas reports amid firm rupee which makes import favourable. On the BCE, groundnut and cotton oil increased by ₹10 and ₹2 per 10 kg, while soyabean and sunflower oil declined by ₹5. Rapeseed and palmolein remained unchanged. Malaysian palm and Chicago soya oil was firm lifting NCDEX soya oil by ₹2-4. Local refineries have kept their rates steady. Liberty: Palmolein Ex Shapur ₹618 for 31 October. Super palmolein ₹640 up to 31October. Allana: Palmolein Ex Khapoli ₹612 for 23 October – 15 November. Soya refined oil ₹660 for 1- 25 November. Sunflower refined oil ₹690 up to 25 November. Ruchi: Palmolein ex Patalganga ₹600 for 20-30 October, ₹601for 1-10 November. Soyabean refi. oil ₹663 and sunflower refi. oil ₹688 for October. Golden agri: Palmolein ex JNPT ₹595 for October. At Rajkot: groundnut oil Telia Tin was ₹1,380 (₹1,380) and Loose (10 kg) at ₹860 ( ₹860). Arrivals of groundnut in Gondal – Rajkot were 65,000-70,000 bags and its prices were ₹700-915. Soyabean arrivals in Madhya Pradesh were about 1.50 lakh bags and its prices were ex Mandi ₹2,700-2,850 and ₹2,850-2,925 plant delivery. Malaysian crude palm oil, October- 17 futures settled at MYR 2,716 (MYR 2,716), November -17 ended at MYR2,750 (MYR 2,709) and December 17 at ₹2,749 (₹2,711). On NCDEX: Soyabean refined oil October-17 futures was higher at ₹657.40 (₹655.50), November-17 at ₹669.20 (665.05) and December 17 at ₹674.50 (₹670.30). On BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg) were: groundnut oil 890 (880), soya refined oil 650 (655), sunflower exp. ref. 620 (625), sunflower ref. 685 (688), rapeseed ref. oil 780 (780), rapeseed expeller ref. 750 (750), cottonseed ref. oil 682 (680) and Palmolein 595 (595).
