Edible oils slip on slack buying
In edible oils markets palmolein and soyabean refined oil declined by ₹1 and ₹4 each while other indigenous oils were unchanged on lack of demand. Market witnessed dull trading activities for second consecutive day tracking bearish futures supported by progress of monsoon rain in producing areas.
Ruchi was quoting palmolein for ₹570, soyabean refined oil ₹637 and sunflower refined oil ₹640-643. Allana was quoting palmolein at ₹574/577, soyabean refined oil ₹643 and sunflower refined oil ₹647.
In Saurashtra, groundnut oil Telia tin was steady at ₹1,230 and loose (10 kg) was ₹785. BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 785 (785), soya refined oil 640 (644), sunflower exp. ref. 590 (590), sunflower ref. 642 (642), rapeseed ref. oil 710 (710, rapeseed expeller ref. 680 (680) cottonseed ref. oil 664 (664) and palmolein 570 (571).
