Palmolein and cotton oil extended gain by ₹7 and ₹3 for 10 kg each on Wednesday as local refineries quoted higher rates on expectation of import duty hike amid higher festival demand. Other edible oils ruled steady.
Vikram Global Commodities quoted ₹455 for Malaysian super palm. Liberty’s rates: palmolein ₹452, super palmolein ₹487 and soyabean refined oil ₹575. Ruchi was quoting palmolein at ₹452, soyabean refined oil ₹565 and sunflower refined oil ₹710. Allana traded palmolein for ₹450-452, super palmolein ₹487, soya refined oil ₹570 and sunflower oil ₹715. In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil telia was at ₹1,730 (1,750) and loose (10 kg) at ₹1,100 (1,125).
