James Jacob, Director, Rubber Research Institute of India (RRII), Rubber Board, has been elected as the Chairman of International Rubber Research and Development Board (IRRDB) for a two-year period in the annual meeting of IRRDB held at Manila.
James Jacob has been Vice-Chairman of IRRDB for the past five years. He had also served as the Liaison Officer of Physiology Specialist Group of IRRDB. Before joining RRII, he worked with the Smithsonian Environmental Research Centre in the US.
