Imported edible oils like palm and soya oil continued to be bearish tracking weak overseas futures amid slack demand. Local refineries reduced their rates. On the BCE, palmolein, soya oil and sunflower oil lost ₹6, ₹5 and ₹5 per 10 kg each. Cotton and rapeseed oil ruled unchanged. Groundnut oil increased by ₹10. Sources said during the day the volume remained thin. Golden Agri sold about 1,000 tonnes of palmolein at ₹618. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin increased by ₹20 to ₹1,460 and loose (10 kg) rose by ₹10 to ₹910.
