Jeera futures traded lower on the back of profit booking, but the downfall was limited as demand in spot was good. Spot prices remained unchanged. On the NCDEX, jeera November contract declined ₹30 to ₹10,935 a quintal while December series lost ₹25 to ₹11,080.
Traders said that demand from domestic market was high. At Rajkot APMC, about 1,900 bags arrived and fetched ₹1,800-1,950 for a maund of 20 kg. At Unjha APMC, about 15,000-16,000 bags arrived and went for ₹1,800-2,000.
