Jeera traded flat on the back of restricted supply and lack of quality product . However, price may not decrease as the stock position is lower this year. At Unjha mandi in Gujarat, jeera went for ₹2,950-3,100 for a maund of 20 kg for average quality and best quality fetched ₹3,250-3,350. About 5,000-6,000 bags arrived in Unjha. At Rajkot APMC, arrival was reported at 300 bags and price was ₹3,200-3,300, while lower grade jeera was ₹2,900-3,100.
