Adequate domestic stock and absence of festival demand in chana have pounded chana prices in Indore mandis in the past one week by about₹300 with chana (kanta) declining to ₹5,200-5,250 a quintal, while chana (desi) declined to ₹5,100. Decline in chana dragged its dal with chana dal (average)quoted at ₹6,200-6,300, chana dal (medim) at Rs ₹6,600-6,700, while chana dal (bold) quoted at ₹7,100-7,200 a quintal respectively. Dollar chana ruled flat in Indore mandis at ₹11,700-12,200 a quintal.
