Lacklustre buying affects soya oil

Soyabean oil moved in the red zone both in spot and futures on weak global cues. Soya refined declined to Rs 601 on lack of buying interest at a higher rate. In resale, soya oil saw scattered trading at Rs 598. Soya solvent also ruled steady at Rs 570-575.

On the NBOT, soya oil March contractclosed lower at Rs 626.10. Similarly on the NCDEX soya oil March and April contracts closed lower at Rs 627 and Rs 635, respectively.

Soya seeds futures on the NCDEX declined with March contracts closing down Rs 38 at Rs 2,403 a quintal.
