Declining arrival has lifted prices of chana and tur in Indore mandis with chana (kanta) today being quoted at ₹5,200-5,250 a quintal, while chana (desi) ruled at ₹5,150. Chana dal ruled stable on subdued buying and demand with chana dal (average) on Tuesday being quoted at ₹6,400-6,500, chana dal (medium) at ₹6,600-6,700, while chana dal (bold) was quoted at ₹6,800-6,900 a quintal respectively. Amid subdued demand dollar chana in local mandis ruled at ₹9,500-10,000 a quintal. In container, dollar chana ( 44/46 count) today ruled at ₹11,600 a quintal, dollar chana (58/60 count) was quoted at ₹9,600-9,700, while dollar chana (60/62 count) ruled at ₹9,500 a quital respectively.Our correspondent
