Groundnut and rapeseed oil rose by ₹30 and ₹10 per 10 kg each tracking firm reports from producing areas, while palmolein, soya oil, cotton and sunflower oil ruled steady tracking bearish overseas futures amid slack demand.
Liberty traded palmolein Ex Shapur at ₹645, super palmolein ₹665. Allana’s rates: Palmolein Ex Khapoli ₹645, soya refined oil ₹715, sunflower refined oil ₹725. Golden agri: palmolein ₹620. Emami: palmolein ₹625.50. Ruchi’s rates: palmolein ₹625, soya oil ₹708 and sunflower refi.oil ₹718. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin jumped by ₹40 to ₹1,510 and loose (10 kg) increased by ₹25 to₹950.
Malaysian crude palm oil, January 18 settled lower at MYR2,459 (MYR 2,474) and February 18 at ended at MYR 2,496 (MYR 2,511). On NCDEX: Soyabean refined oil January 18 was flat at ₹721.60 (₹721.60) and February-18 at ₹727.50 (₹728.75) till evening. BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 980 (950), soya refined oil 702 (702), sunflower exp. ref. 655 (655), sunflower ref. 705 (705), rapeseed ref. oil 820 (810), rapeseed expeller ref. 790 (780), cottonseed ref. oil 695 (695) and Palmolein 620 (620).
