Pepper futures contracts on Tuesday slipped on anticipation of imports from Vietnam and rise in arrivals of the indigenous crop in the coming days, market sources told BusinessLine .
Spot prices remained unchanged at ₹65,900 (ungarbled) and ₹68,900 (garbled) a quintal .On the terminal market, about 27 tonnes from the southern districts of Kerala and the high ranges arrived, and these were traded between ₹660-675 a kg .
February and March contracts on IPSTA dropped ₹1,000 a quintal each to close at ₹65,000 and ₹63,000 . Indian export prices were at $10,450 a tonne c&f for Europe, as well as $10,700 a tonne c&f for the US.
