January contract on the IPSTA moved up on Tuesday, while the spot prices of pepper remained unchanged on limited activities. On the terminal market, eight tonnes were traded at ₹640-675 a kg. Spot prices remained unchanged at ₹65,900 (ungarbled) and ₹68,900 (garbled) a quintal. January series on the IPSTA increased by ₹1,000 a quintal to ₹70,000, while February and March were steady at ₹69,000 and ₹62,000. Export prices were at around $10,375 a tonne c&f for Europe and $10,625 for the US.
