Sugar prices at Vashi ruled mixed and remained stable at naka and mill level on routine demand. Mills continued selling at prevailing prices with smaller discount as per quality. As supply from producers remained ample and local demand was subdued, volatility was thin. Arrivals and local dispatches were at par with no change in freight rates. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates:S-grade ₹3,632-3,692 (3,620-3,700) and M-grade ₹3,682-3,922 (3,680-3,922). Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,600-3,650 (3,600-3,650) and M-grade ₹3,650-3,740 (3,650-3,740).
