Comments
Prices of moong dal and gram dal declined while sooji went up. All the other major commodities remained unaltered in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Moong dal dropped by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 6,700 from its previous rate of Rs 6,900.
Gram dal edged down by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 4,300 from Rs 4,350.
Sooji (90 kg) edged up by Rs 50 to Rs 1,850 from Rs 1,800.
The following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities today (in rupees per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Tur dal Rs 6,000, urad dal Rs 6,200, moong dal Rs 6,700, gram dal Rs 4,300, sugar Rs 2,850, wheat Rs 1,700, maida (90 kg) Rs 1,650 and sooji (90 kg) Rs 1,850.
