Prices of urad dal moved up while moong dal, tur dal, wheat and maida declined. All the other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Urad dal rose by Rs 100 a quintal to Rs 6,700 from yesterday’s rate of Rs 6,600
On the other hand, moong dal shed Rs 200 a quintal to Rs 7,000 from its previous rate of Rs 7,200. Tur dal moved down by Rs 100 a quintal to Rs 6,700 from Rs 6,800.
Likewise, wheat and maida lost Rs 50 a quintal each to Rs 1,850 from Rs 1,900 and Rs 1,650 from Rs 1,700 previously, respectively.
Gram dal, sugar and sooji were taken at their previous rates.
Following are the wholesale rates/quintal: Tur dal Rs 6,700, urad dal Rs 6,700, moong dal Rs 7,000, gram dal Rs 2,900, sugar Rs 2,700, wheat Rs 1,850, maida (90 kg) Rs 1,650 and sooji (90 kg) Rs 1,850.
