The National Multi Commodity Exchange of India (NMCE), which has reactivated futures trading in pepper from Friday after incorporating modifications in the contracts, traded 320 lots on Sunday with a turn over of ₹3.24 crore. The December series in the ‘mini’ contract lost ₹242 a quintal to ₹70,290, while the January series lost ₹1,052 to ₹70,008.
