Pepper futures moved up on Thursday on anticipation of good buying support at premium prices while the spot remained steady on limited activities, market sources said. On the terminal market 12 tonnes were traded at ₹570-595 a kg. Spot prices ruled steady at ₹57,400 (ungarbled) and ₹60,400 (garbled) a quintal. April and May contracts on the IPSTA increased by ₹1,000 a quintal each to close at ₹61,000 and 58,000 while June remained unchanged at ₹57,000 a quintal.
