Pepper prices continued to slip on Tuesday. On the terminal market only 5 tonnes were traded at ₹600 a kg. Spot prices slipped by ₹100 a quintal to close at ₹58,000 (ungarbled) and ₹61,000 (garbled). May and July contracts on the IPSTA remained unchanged at ₹59,000 and ₹58,000 a quintal while June moved up by ₹1,000 to close at ₹58,000 a quintal.
