Quality turmeric price improves

At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Sales yard, the price of finger turmeric increased by ₹400 a quintal, while the root variety rose by ₹200 a quintal. However, at the Regulated Marketing Committee, both varieties of turmeric decreased by ₹100 due to quality issues. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Sales yard, finger turmeric was sold at ₹6,189-7,419, while the root variety was sold at ₹5,877-6,584. At the Regulated Marketing Committee, finger turmeric was sold at ₹6,141-6,933 and the root variety was sold at ₹5,729-6,599.
