As rains lashed many parts of Saurashtra and Gujarat, price of groundnut and its oil decreased on expectation of good sowing. Moreover, demand also decreased which supported the price to go down. Cotton oil ruled flat on normal demand. Groundnut oil loose was down by ₹10 to ₹765-770 per 10 kg. Jamnagar line telia declined ₹15 to ₹1,195-1,196 per 15 kg and new tin was down by ₹10 to ₹1,355-60 per 15 kg. About 4-5 tankers of groundnut oil were traded in Saurashtra’s mills. Washed cotton oil wash was traded at ₹622-625 for 10 kg and new tin ₹1,110-30 per 15 kg. About 25-30 tankers of cotton oil were traded here.
