Spot rubber regained strength in the absence of sellers . RSS-4 improved to ₹129 (128.50) a kg, according to traders. The grade continued to remain unchanged at ₹128.50 and ₹125.50 respectively as reported by the Rubber Board and the dealers.
The trend was mixed. January futures firmed up to ₹132 (130.61), February to ₹133.38 (132.12), March to ₹135.30 (134.29) and April to ₹137.20 (135.62) on the NMCE. RSS-3 (spot) improved to ₹105.08 (104.46) at Bangkok. January futures weakened to ₹115.82 (116.84) on the TOCOM. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 129 (128.50); RSS-5: 124 (123); ISNR 20: 115 (115) and Latex (60% drc): 89.50 (89.50).
