Covering purchases kept spot rubber firm on Wednesday. RSS-4 concluded at ₹128 (127) a kg as quoted by the traders. The grade improved to ₹127.50 (126.50) and ₹124.50 (123.50) per kg respectively, according to Rubber Board and dealers.
December futures firmed up to ₹129 (127.98), January to ₹130.25 (129.12) and February to ₹132.87 (131.78) on the NMCE. RSS 3 (spot) closed at ₹100.90 (100.89) a kg at Bangkok.
December futures improved to ₹109.62 (107.74) a kg on the TOCOM. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 128 (127); RSS-5: 125 (124); ISNR 20: 108 (107.50) and Latex (60% drc): 84.50 (83.50).
