Spot rubber continued to rule firm on Monday. The market suffered from acute short supplies and the overall volumes were extremely dull. RSS 4 improved to ₹143 (₹141) a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade firmed up to ₹140 (₹138) as reported by the dealers. May futures increased to ₹149.30 (₹146.17), June to ₹149.84 (₹146.69) and July to ₹148.97 (₹146.15) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) closed at ₹120.56 (₹120) at Bangkok. May futures closed at ¥191.8 (₹114.96) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
