Spot rubber finished weak on Tuesday due to low demand from bulk buyers, influenced by weaker overseas futures. RSS-4 declined to ₹131 (132) a kg, according to traders. The grade dropped to ₹131.50 (132) and ₹128.50 (129) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and the dealers. The trend was mixed.
January futures improved to ₹134.70 (134.28), February to ₹136.80 (136.54) andMarch to ₹139.40 (139.07)on the NMCE. December futures slid to ₹112.64 (112.94) on the TOCOM.
Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 131 (132); RSS-5: 129 (129); ISNR 20: 113 (113) and Latex (60% drc): 92 (92).
