Select commodity prices rose on the wholesale pulses market on Monday on pick up in retailers demand against restricted arrivals.

Marketmen attributed the rise in select wholesale pulses prices to pick up in demand from retailers. In the national capital, rajmah chitra and kabli small remained in demand advanced to Rs 4,500-5,200 and Rs 6,100-8,500 from previous levels of Rs 4,300-5,000 and Rs 5,900-8,500 per quintal, respectively.

Gram moved up by Rs 100 to Rs 3,250-3,300 and its dal local and best quality were also traded higher by the same margin to Rs 3,700-3,800 and Rs 3,900-4,000 a quintal respectively. Following are today’s quotations per quintal: Urad 3,850-4,250, Urad chilka (local) 4,700-5,100, best 5,300-5,800, Dhoya 5,100-5,200, Moong 3,750-4,750, Dal moong chilka local 4,900-5,300, Moong Dhoya local 5,300-5,400 and best quality 6,000-6,200.

Masoor small 2,750-3,050, bold 2,900-3,150, Dal Masoor local 3,450-3,550, best quality 3,600-3,900, Malka local 3,350-3,400, best 3,500-3,600, Moth 2,100-2,500, Arhar 3,100-3,600, dal arhar dara 4,500-4,900.

Gram 3,250—3300, gram dal(local) 3,700-3,800, best quality 3,900-4,000, besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,500, Rajdhani 1,500, Rajmah chitra 4,300-5,000, kabli gram small 6,100-8,500, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, lobia 4,700-5,200, peas white 2,425-2,450 and green 2,550-2,650.
