Selling pressure drags sugar

Sugar market remained stable at Vashi despite weak demand on Wednesday. Higher selling pressure pulled down naka and mill tender rates by ₹10-20 a quintal. At Vashi arrivals were about 61-62 truck loads and local dispatches were at the same level. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates:S-grade ₹3,570-3,802 (3,572-3,802) and M-grade ₹3,682-3,912 (3,686-3,912). Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,530-3,610 (3,540-3,610) and M-grade ₹3,600-3,700 (3,620-3,710).
