Sluggish trend in soy oil continued on weak global cues and physical demand with soy refined quoted at ₹655-58 for 10 kg, while soy solvent declined to ₹622-25. Expected rise in festival demand ahead of Diwali may arrest downtrend in soy oil, said M Sanjay Agrawal, a soybean trader talking to the Business Line .
Soybean traded lower on rise in arrival of new soybean in local mandis with its prices quoted at ₹2,850 a quintal (down₹150 from last week). Plant deliveries of soybean quoted lower at ₹2,850 on slack demand in soy oil. Soy DOC ruled at ₹22,000-23,500 a quintal.
