Refined soya oil prices rose Rs 3.15 to Rs 622.15 per 10 kg at the futures market today on pick-up in spot market demand in line with a firming overseas trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in May rose Rs 3.15 or 0.5 per cent to Rs 622.15 per 10 kg with a trading volume of four lots. Similarly, June contract gained Rs 2.55 or 0.41 per cent to Rs 629.80 per 10 kg with an open interest of two lots.
Traders said pick-up in spot market demand helped refined soya oil futures prices to trade higher.
