Spot rubber closed almost unchanged on Monday. RSS 4 finished flat at ₹125 a kg, according to traders. The grade slid to ₹124.50 (124) as quoted by the Rubber Board. The trend was partially mixed as ISNR 20 improved following a firm closing in global trendsetter. RSS 4 weakened at its January futures to ₹125.87 (127.63) on the Indian Commodity Exchange (ICEX).
RSS 3 (spot) firmed up to ₹109.31 (108.70) at Bangkok. January futures improved to ₹114.40 (113.22) a kg on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 125 (125); RSS-5: 121 (121; ISNR 20: 117 (116) and Latex (60% drc): 89.50 (89.50).
