Spot rubber declined on Friday. RSS 4 weakened further to ₹151.50 (152) per kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The market opened steady but lost the initial strength later on buyer resistance. The trend continued to remain mixed. July futures inched up to ₹150.38 (150.09) on the Indian Commodity Exchange (ICEX). RSS 3 (spot) improved to ₹142.08 (141.26) at Bangkok. June futures firmed up to ₹155.47 (153.92)on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 151.50 (152); RSS-5: 148 (148.50); ISNR 20: 130.50 (130.50) and Latex (60% drc): 94.50 (95).
