Spot rubber steady in an almost inactive trading session on Friday. RSS 4 quoted unchanged at ₹91 a kg, by traders. The grade slid to ₹91(₹91.50) and ₹88(₹88.50) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and the dealers. The trend partially mixed as RSS 5 finished slightly lower amidst scattered transactions.
The February futures improved marginally to ₹91.89 (₹91.66), March to ₹94.25 (₹93.76) and April to ₹96.70 (₹96.04) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) weakened to ₹84.80 (₹85.73) at Bangkok. February futures closed at ¥150(₹86.83) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates ₹/ kg were: RSS-4: 91(91); RSS-5: 87(87.50); Ungraded: 81(81); ISNR 20: 83.50 (83.50) and Latex (60% drc): 79(79).
