Spot rubber improves

Spot rubber improved on Tuesday. RSS 4 firmed up to ₹132 (131) a kg according to traders. The grade quoted steady at ₹131 and ₹128 a kg respectively according to the Rubber Board and dealers. The trend was mixed. September futures firmed up to ₹132.60 (132.12), October to ₹131.50 (131.07),November to ₹132.39 (131.35) and December to ₹132.53 (131.22) on NMCE.RSS 3 (spot) weakened to ₹119.29 (119.53) a kg at Bangkok. September futures dropped to ₹124.17 (124.40) a kg on TOCOM. Spot rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 132 (131); RSS-5: 127 (126); ISNR 20: 112 (112) and Latex (60% drc): 80 (80).
