Spot rubber closed unchanged on Wednesday as sentiments turned neutral due to lack of fresh enquiries from major consuming industries. RSS 4 was quoted steady at ₹123 a kg.
The grade finished flat at ₹122.50 and ₹119.50 respectively according to the Rubber Board and dealers. May futures inched up to ₹121.70 (₹121.69), June to ₹125.60 (₹125.24) and July to ₹127.65 (₹127.05) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) weakened to ₹113.03 (₹113.59) at Bangkok. Spot rubber rates (₹/ kg) were: RSS-4: 123 (123); RSS-5: 118 (118).
