Spot rubber continued to remain steady in an almost inactive trading session on Friday. RSS-4 closed unchanged at ₹134 a kg ,according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade was flat at ₹131, according to dealers. October contracts ended at ₹133.20 (133.73), November at ₹131.29 (131.19), December at ₹131.40 (131.85) and January at ₹132.50 (133.12) on the NMCE. RSS 3 (spot) slid to ₹113.24 (114.35) at Bangkok. October futures improved to ₹120.40 (120.16) on the TOCOM. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 134 (134); RSS-5: 131 (131); ISNR 20: 116 (116.50) and Latex (60% drc): 84 (84.50).
