Physical rubber prices were steady on Tuesday. RSS 4 was quoted unchanged at ₹132 a kg by traders. The grade weakened to ₹132 (132.50)and ₹129 (129.50) respectively, according to the Rubber board and the dealers. The trend was partially mixed as latex improved sharply on acute short supplies. July futures declined to ₹133.25 (134.55), August to ₹134.25 (135.78) and September to ₹134.16 (135.69) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) slid to ₹116.07 (116.58) at Bangkok. June futures closed at ¥215.1 (₹10.58) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 132 (132); RSS-5: 129 (129); Ungraded: 120 (120); ISNR 20: 122 (122) and Latex 60%: 118 (115).
