Spot rubber fell further on Wednesday. RSS 4 declined to ₹121 (122.50) a kg, according to traders. The grade slid to ₹121.50 (122)according to the Rubber Board.
The commodity lost ground on import rumours as major consuming industries might stay back from the domestic markets in the days ahead.
November futures improved to ₹123 (122.88) on the Indian Commodity Exchange (ICEX). RSS 3 (spot) dropped to ₹97.87 (97.98) at Bangkok. November futures declined to ₹85.66 (87.10) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) : RSS-4: 121 (122.50); RSS-5: 116 (117.50); ISNR 20: 110.50 (111) and Latex (60% drc): 82.50 (82.50).
