Spot rubber closed weak on Wednesday. RSS 4 declined to ₹131.50 (₹132) a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade slid to ₹128.50 (₹129) according dealers. The market opened steady but lost ground during late trading hours on buyer resistance. Meanwhile latex strengthened further on supply concerns. July futures dropped to ₹132.80 (₹133.32), August to ₹134 (₹134.40) and September to ₹134.20 (₹134.46) for RSS 4 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) slipped to ₹116.02 (₹116.07) at Bangkok. June futures closed at ¥216.0 (₹110.55) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates ₹/ kg were : RSS-4: 131.50 (132); RSS-5: 129 (129); Ungraded: 118 (120); ISNR 20: 121 (122) and Latex (60% drc): 119 (118).
