Spot rubber turned weak on Tuesday. RSS 4 dropped to ₹134 (135) a kg, according to traders. The grade slid to ₹134.50 (₹135) and ₹131.50 (₹132) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and dealers. The trend was mixed. October futures declined to ₹133.80 (135.19), November to ₹131 (133.06), December to ₹132.11 (134.12) and January to ₹133.60 (134.71) on the NMCE. RSS 3 (spot) improved to ₹112.53 (111.83) at Bangkok. October futures firmed up to ₹120.31 (118.81) on the TOCOM. Spot rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 134 (135); RSS-5: 131 (132); ISNR 20: 117.50 (117.50) and Latex (60% drc): 85 (85).
