Spot rubber continued to remain under pressure owing to global declines and the absence of domestic buyers.

RSS 4 weakened to ₹145 from 146 and ₹146.50 a kg respectively according to traders and the Rubber Board.

The grade dropped to ₹143 (₹143.50). The April futures weakened to ₹140.50 (142.08), May to ₹147.20 (149.15) and June to ₹150.75 (152.18) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.

RSS 3 (spot) slid to ₹145.67 (147.28) at Bangkok. April futures declined to ¥265.0 (₹156.26) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.

Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 145 (146); RSS-5: 140 (141); Ungraded: 126 (128); ISNR 20: 127.50 (128) and Latex (60% drc): 93.50 (93.50).
