Spot rubber made moderate gains on Thursday. RSS 4 improved to ₹133 (132) a kg as reported by the traders. The grade firmed up to ₹132 (131.50) according to Rubber Board. December futures slid to ₹134.25 (134.38), January to ₹135.93 (136.08), February to ₹138.00(138.15) and March to ₹139.53 (140.12) on NMCE. RSS 3 (spot) firmed up to ₹102.94 (102.36) at Bangkok. December futures improved to ₹111.53 (110.36) on TOCOM. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 133 (132); RSS-5: 129 (128.50); ISNR 20: 113 (112.50) and Latex (60% drc): 92.50 (92.50).
