Spot rubber weakened on Tuesday. RSS 4 dropped to ₹124 (124.50) a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The market lost ground on buyer resistance following the sharp declines in global trendsetters. February futures slid to ₹121.59 (123.37) on the Indian Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) declined to ₹112.91 (115.92) at Bangkok. February futures surrendered to ₹121.28 (127.71) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) : RSS-4: 124 (124.50); RSS-5: 117.50 (118.50); ISNR 20: 115.50 (116) and Latex (60% drc): 85.50 (86.50).
