Sugar prices at Vashi market were up by ₹10-15 a quintal on back of routine demand but ruled steady at naka and mill level. Arrivals, local dispatches and volumes remained normal. Arrivals at Vashi were stable at 60-61 truck loads and local dispatches too were at the same level.
The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade ₹3,770-3,872 (3,770-3,862) and M-grade was ₹3,820-4,060 (3,800-4,050). Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,790-3,850 (3,790-3,850) and M-grade ₹3,850-3,940 (3,850-3,940).
