Stockists’ buying lifts edible oils

Barring palmolein, which eased by ₹1, all other edible oils ruled steady despite higher physical volumes amid firm futures. Stockists made new purchases ahead of Diwali. Liberty traded palmolein at ₹588, super palmolein at ₹604 and soyabean refined oil at ₹660. Ruchiquoted palmolein for ₹577. Allana’s rates: palmolein ₹580, soya refined oil ₹660, sunflower refined oil ₹725. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin further declined by ₹70 to ₹1,580 and loose (10 kg) down by ₹50 to ₹1,000. BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 1,100 (1,100), soya ref. 650 (650), sunflower exp. ref. 660 (660), sunflower ref. 715 (715), rapeseed ref. 860 (860), rapeseed exp. ref. 830 (830), cottonseed ref. 715 (715) and palmolein 573 (574).
