Sugar market ruled weak on reduced demand on Wednesday. Prices at Vashi weaken by ₹10–20 of S-grade while M-grade remained steady.
On Tuesday22-24 mills sold 44,000-45,000 bags at ₹2,950-3,000 of S-grade and ₹3,000-3,120 of M-grade. Bombay Sugar Merchants Association spot rates: S-grade ₹3,090-3,162 and M-grade ₹3,196-3,422. Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,060-3,150 and M-grade ₹3,120-3,255.
