Sugar prices ruled flat with thin volatility on Monday on back of routine demand, supply and volume. At Vashi market prices gained by ₹4 a quintal. Naka and mill tender rates were unchanged. Inventory at Vashi remained steady at 110-115 truck loads. Arrivals at Vashi were about 62-64 truck loads and local dispatches were at 61-62 loads. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade ₹3,616-3,692 (3,612-3,692) and M-grade ₹3,706-3,842 (3,702-3,842). Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,580-3,670 (3,580-3,670) and M-grade ₹3,640-3,770 (3,640-3,770).
