Both the leaf and dust markets were strong. The leaf tea grades fetched an average price of ₹101.73 a kg against ₹97.79 in the previous sale.

The dust tea grades fetched an average price of ₹95.91 a kg against ₹90.81 in the previous week. Collectively, the average price at this week’s auction rose to ₹99.70 from the previous week’s ₹95.55.
