Arrivals of turmeric bags to the markets in Erode have decreased. “Usually on Mondays, the arrivals will be low and today (Monday) only 3,600 bags arrived. Traders purchased good number of bags for their local and upcountry demand,” said RKV Ravishankar, President, Erode Turmeric Merchants Association.
